Dr. Nate Lebowitz is a board certified cardiologist, practicing at the Advanced Cardiology Institute in Fort Lee, NJ. He has been an active physician in the Bloodless Institute at Englewood Hospital for many years and has a special interest in bloodless medicine and cardiology.
Dr. Lebowitz attended Cornell University Medical College, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Following this, he was a teaching attending physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the West Haven V.A. Medical Center.
Dr. Lebowitz completed a fellowship in Cardiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Medical Center.
Dr. Lebowitz has advanced training in preventive cardiology, advanced cholesterol treatment, nutrition, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He has won many honors and awards. He is also a founding member of The Society for the Advancement of Blood Management (SABM).
