Louis Jan, MD, is Chief of Nephrology at Englewood Health and a physician with the Institute for Patient Blood Management and Bloodless Medicine and Surgery. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, and specializes in treating acute and chronic kidney disorders such as kidney stones and kidney failure.
Dr. Jan attended Jefferson Medical College and then subsequently performed an internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland, followed by his fellowship in nephrology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Jan’s research on anemia of chronic kidney disease and secondary hyperparathyroidism has been published in several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Jan is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and The Renal Physicians Association.
